Project Title: Bike Kill

A young woman trying out a tall-bike during the annual Bike Kill event, organized by the Black Label Bike Club in Brooklyn, New York. Bike Kill is a free event, accessible and providing fun to all, where anyone can come try out the bike creations and participate in the jousting events. Originally, the Black Label Bike Club was created for people who didn’t have a family or who felt like they didn’t fit into theirs. The founders, Jake Houle and Per Hanson, encouraged new clubs to be created with only one rule: create an annual event where all the club members from various chapters would meet every year: Bike Kill in New York, Slaughterama in Virginia, Riding Dirty in Louisiana, to name a few.
